On Thursday, the state government has extended ESMA for 6 months on behalf of the UP government. Due to which, there is once again a ban on strike in government services.

Esma Act will be applicable for next 6 months
It is being told that after the corona in the state, the ESMA Act has been pushed forward by the UP government in view of the appalling conditions related to post-kovid problems. Under which, for the next 6 months, all public services, authorities, corporations and the government working under the UP government have been banned from the employees working in all government departments. Let me tell you that in May last year, UP government implemented ESMA, which was further extended for 6 months in November.

Esma imposed under Act 1966, Governor approved
The ESMA Act, implemented by the UP government under the Essential Services Maintenance Act 1966, was also approved by Governor Anandiben Patel, after which it was implemented on Thursday.
