According to media reports, Khaira has been meeting with some senior Congress leaders in Delhi for the past 7-8 days. It is also discussed that after joining the Congress, he will be made a candidate from Bhulath itself.
On the other hand, there is also discussion that a section of Congress leaders is not happy with Khaira's return. Khaira's image is being cited as the reason behind this. Actually Sukhpal Singh Khaira was sacked by AAP for speaking out of party line. After this he formed a new party Punjab Ekta Party.
