On this issue, from all political people, local residents are also opposing the administration. Those protesting include MP Mohammad Faizal, who says administrators are trying to change people's food-eating traditions. Apart from this, the traditions of Lakshadweep are also being harmed by their arbitrary decisions.
Complaint with Amit Shah and President
The criticism of the protest against the administrator is that the Kerala Leader of Opposition VD Satishan has complained to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah that he should withdraw Praful Patel as soon as possible. Apart from this, Rajya Sabha MP E. Karim has also demanded the release of Prafulla from President Ramnath Kovind.
97% Muslim population
Lakshadweep has long been known as a non-alcoholic area. Muslims constitute 97% of the total population living here, who consume meat. The administrator is also accused of mismanagement of Corona in Lakshadweep. Member of Parliament Mohammad Faizal has alleged that the administrator relaxed the pre-Quarantine rules by relaxing the pre-existing Corona protocol.
