In the latest case, on Thursday, the police arrested Vivek Parmar, a resident of Gorsar village in Porbandar district, under Section 469 of the Indian Penal Code. Vivek is accused of tampering with a portion of the video of the Chief Minister's speech and uploading it on YouTube, which has damaged Rupani's image.

Accused doing graduation in commerce
Vivek, who graduated in commerce, usually posts laughable videos on YouTube and his Facebook account, police said. Police recently saw a video of the Chief Minister on Vivek's Facebook account. The video was tampered with.
The police officer said that Vivek is accused of making objectionable videos using a portion of the video of the Chief Minister's speech and sharing it on social media. Vivek is accused of sharing this video with the aim of maligning the Chief Minister's image. Police has also registered an FIR against Vivek in this case.
An accused was arrested in Vadodara as well
Earlier, police had taken Pradeep Kahar, resident of Dandia Bazar area of Vadodara city, in Hiratus for making funny videos of Vijay Rupani. Pradeep made the video using a part of the Chief Minister's speech and then uploaded it on social media. A case was also registered under section 469 of IPC (forgery to damage someone's reputation).
