According to the squeeze in the meeting of the Center, 37.3 per cent of the vaccine has been wasted in Jharkhand. This is followed by Chhattisgarh, where 30.2 percent of the vaccine is wasted. On the other hand, the central government is making a different claim to the contrary. The Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand has claimed that the vaccine wastage figures are wrong, its percentage in the state is only 4.65.
