The special effect of Yas storm will last for two days i.e. from 27 to 28 May. During this period, the wind can move at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour in the state. There is a possibility of thunderstorm in many areas with heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding this.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had a big meeting on Tuesday to deal with Yas and gave many instructions. Meanwhile, a team of Special Experts of NDRF has taken a front in the Ganges river of Patna. This deployment has been done at the Bhadra Ghat in Patna. This is where the battalion of NDRF has been deployed. Due to YAS, a special team of NDRF has been deployed for emergency at Bhadra Ghat in Patna in view of the possibility of strong thunderstorms in many districts of the state including Patna.

Patna DM said- District residents should be especially vigilant
