The lockdown was imposed on May 5 in the state. Looking at the statistics of Bihar Health Department, 95,248 samples were examined in the state on this day, out of which 14,836 new cases were reported. The infection rate was recorded at 15.57 percent on this day. Here, during the lockdown, on Wednesday i.e. on May 26, the rate of infection was recorded at 1.97 percent. In this way, after the lockdown in the state till Wednesday, the corona infection rate has declined by 13.60 percent.

On May 10, 1,00,112 samples were tested across the state, of which 10,174 were found positive. The infection rate was recorded at 10.16 percent on this day. After this, the infection rate further declined on 15 May and it reached 6.65 per cent. After this, on May 20, 1,40,070 samples were tested in the state, in which 5,871 people were found infected. On this day, the infection rate was recorded at 4.19 percent.

On May 26, the rate of infection dropped to 1.97 percent.
Similarly, the infection rate reached 2.22 percent on May 24 and the day after that, on May 25, the infection rate reached 2.29 percent. On May 26, 1,31,916 samples were tested in the state, in which 2603 new patients were found. On this day, the rate of infection fell to 1.97 percent. The number of active patients in the state has reached 30,992 on Wednesday. Health Minister Mangal Pandey also says that till a few days ago, where the number of patients met daily has crossed 15 thousand, now it has fallen. He said that the rate of infection is also declining continuously.
