The court expressed satisfaction over the steps taken by the state government amid Corona infection.

A bench of Justices Siddharth Verma and Justice Ajit Kumar praised the state government for the management of Kovid during a public interest litigation filed on health facilities for the treatment of corona in the state. The court while recording the report given by the state government, however, did not pass any order and directed to set a date for hearing in the second week of June.

'Some Government's Steps Commendable'
The court took cognizance of the report filed by the state government regarding the medical facilities available in Bahraich, Shravasti, Bijnor, Barabanki and Jaunpur districts and said that some steps taken by the Yogi government regarding health facilities are praiseworthy. The court asked to file a progress report on the medical facilities of five more districts Bhadohi, Ghazipur, Ballia, Deoria and Shamli on the next date of hearing.

Yogi government fixed test rates, court expressed satisfaction
The Allahabad High Court expressed special satisfaction with the government's initiative to set the rates of RTPCR, antigen, trunet test and CT scan. After this, the rates of all the tests from the government were fixed, which was highly welcomed by the public. The court took positive cognizance that the rate of RTPCR has been fixed between Rs 500 and Rs 900, antigen test Rs 200, trunet test Rs 1200 and CT scan between 2000 and 2500 rupees from the government.
